WHAT THEY DID

Zapier’s brand team set the theme and a dark-to-light visual language by hand, worked with an AI artist to make 14 animated images in Midjourney, OpenAI and Veo, used a CSV-driven automation to fill speaker intro templates, generated personalized badges with Bannerbear, and had a human pick AI-enhanced speaker photos before automation cut them out for Figma.

HOW IT WENT

Zapier reports a 25% year-on-year rise in registrations and up to a 33% lift on visually rich channels. The team says strong prompting alone wasn’t enough and the artist went through thousands of iterations.

WORTH KNOWING

The article doesn’t separate the visuals’ effect from other factors, and has no date. A human composer wrote the soundtrack and key intros were designed by hand.
