WHAT THEY DID

Claire Vo imported a public homepage’s HTML, logo, fonts and graphics (assets she had permission to use) so Claude Design extracted a design system. She fixed the heading style, then generated a landing page in three variations and turned an article into a slide deck. Separately she made a brand kit with GPT Images 2.0 using reference images.

HOW IT WENT

She reports the landing page and deck came close to usable once a design system existed, and that reference images beat written descriptions for the brand kit. Generation was slow, the tool defaulted to italic serif until corrected, and she paid $200 for more credits.

WORTH KNOWING

It didn’t replace Figma for quick visual tweaks, and she says hierarchy, accessibility and image rights still need human review. The page shows screenshots but not the prompts.

Claims and where they come from

  • Reference images improved the brand kit more than descriptive prompts (reported) [1]

4TC interpretation

Our reading, not something the source says.

It shows a concrete way designers' existing brand assets become the input for AI-generated layouts, and where the author still needed a human to review the result.
